Defluidization Investigation into Bubbling Fluidized Bed Particles with Alkaline Addition during Pyrolysis

چکیده

Some unwanted inorganic materials, such as alkaline compounds contained in biomass, have the potential to create slagging formations with oxide from either inside or outside bubbling fluidized bed (BFB). The process involved 88-125 µm silica sand and clay (bentonite) particles during pyrolysis KCl addition at 700°C represent biomass under superficialN 2 -velocity operation. Agglomeration formation was confirmed by decrease average ΔP of experiment, which theoretically should take place KCl, while defluidization condition a consistent particle deviation, even after further additions. Investigation 0.005 1 g encapsulated periodical showed that has tendency form agglomeration faster than bentonite, specifically 0.0211 (0.0032% total mass). Meanwhile, bentonite achieve more easily according deviation analysis. ability maintain fluidization longer indicates is better for this process.

Effect of Segregation on the Reaction Rate of Sewage Sludge Pyrolysis in a Bubbling Fluidized Bed

The evolution of the pyrolysis of sewage sludge in a fixed and a fluidized bed was analyzed using a novel measuring technique. This original measuring technique consists of installing the whole reactor over a precision scale, capable of measuring the mass of the complete reactor with enough precision to detect the mass released by the sewage sludge sample during its pyrolysis. The inert conditi...

Bubbling behavior of a fluidized bed of fine particles caused by vibration-induced air inflow

We demonstrate that a vibration-induced air inflow can cause vigorous bubbling in a bed of fine particles and report the mechanism by which this phenomenon occurs. When convective flow occurs in a powder bed as a result of vibrations, the upper powder layer with a high void ratio moves downward and is compressed. This process forces the air in the powder layer out, which leads to the formation ...
